ShareRoberto finally made his mark on this summer's transfer dealings by completing the ?7million capture of Gael Clichy and lining up moves for Samir Nasri and defensive prospect Stefan Savic. Arsenal left-back Clichy signed a four-year deal at Eastlands, as forecast in Sportsmail last week, but may be reflecting ruefully on a scathing assessment of his new employers after they lured Emmanuel Adebayor from The Emirates just two years ago. Questioning the former Arsenal striker's motives, Clichy said: 'I really believe that if you are a player who thinks only about money, then you could end up at Manchester City. You have to think if you want to play for a big club and have your image, or play for a good club and earn big money. Done and dusted: Gael Clichy shows off the Manchester City shirt at Eastlands 'A club can spend big amounts, but itdoes not always mean the team will play well.' After refusing Arsenal'soffer of new terms, and entering the final 12 months of his Emirates contract, Clichy left Arsene Wenger with little option but to accept City's bid and sanction what could be the first of three-high profile departures. Nasri is next in line, with Mancini ready to battle it out with neighbours Manchester United and Chelsea forhis ?20million signature, while Cesc Fabregas is closing in on his long-awaited move to Barcelona. Serbian champions Partizan have confirmed that talks are on-going with City over 20-year old Montenegro centre-back Savic, and it is believed a deal could be rubberstamped by the end of the week. Potential team-mates: Stefan Savic (left) and Samir Nasri could be lining up at Eastlands next year Mancini revealed to the Italian mediaover the weekend that the Savic transfer was 'done.
